Model-Based Systems Engineering Tool-Chain for Automated Parameter Value Selection

Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) integrate heterogeneous and process sensor data using digital services. As the complexity of CPS increases, it becomes more challenging to efficiently formalize integrated multidomain views with flexible automated verification across entire lifecycle. This article illustrates a model-based engineering tool-chain support development an emphasis on parameter value selection for co-simulation. First, domain-specific modeling approach is introduced formalizations artifacts, processes, simulation configurations. The models are used as basis generate Web-based management system selections, which coordinates Open Services Lifecycle Collaboration services information technical resources (models, data, tools) in order deployed by service orchestrator based decision-making algorithm selection. Finally, developers make use WPMS implement simulations select values co-simulation automatically. illustrated case study auto-braking we evaluate efficiency this both qualitative quantitative methods. results show that selected effectively when implementing co-simulations our tool-chain.
